CHINA RESEARCH

Posted on August 20th, 2008 in Uncategorized by woodlands5

While you are finding all the details for your Chinese props, sets, costumes and research asssignments see if you can answer this question:

Why is the Yangtze River often called the Yellow River? Write your answer on paper in 100-150 words and bring it to school by Monday.

Well done with the Book Week costumes today - all but one of our class came in a costume. You set a very good example for small children when you do that.

Animal Cruelty?

Posted on July 8th, 2008 in Uncategorized by woodlands5

Do you believe we should ban the use of animals for entertainment?

This is our next interschool debating topic. How much information can you find to use -

AFFIRMATIVE (agree that we should ban) or NEGATIVE (we should not ban).

Information, examples, pictures - all useful. Collect everything you can find and bring it along after the holidays - or send it to the blog.

YES?   NO?
